With experience on more than 100 sexual harassment cases, PII investigators understand the sensitive nature of the allegations and are familiar with the barriers to disclosure. Some victims are reluctant to come forward for fear of retaliation, particularly if they have to discuss emotional and embarrassing experiences publicly. Over the years, PII has developed the investigative techniques needed to put these witnesses at ease. Victims are only one piece of the puzzle, however. At times, co-workers and the accused also need to be approached. Investigators who can successfully interact with parties on both sides of the litigation are a valuable resource for attorneys.
